well they are officially almost their, right about now they should be in London, or flying some where over it, soon they will be in Africa. they wanted me to thank all who supported them, with prayers, good thoughts, and opening their hearts and pocket books. so thank you. keep up with their adventures in Africa by keeping up with the sandal's blogs.

Have you ever herd o f Toms Shoes? well if you have, here is some information you may not have known, they allow people to host "style your sole" parties. i know what you are thinking, "oh my gosh! whats that? i must get involved! oh i hope they tell me more so i can style my sole!" well that is exactly what is about to happen! on January 31st (Savannah's 15th birthday) there will be a style your soles party at sandals church! it will be huge you buy a pair of white toms shoes and you can decorate them, sounds exciting, yes? well some of you may be thinking "that sounds great and i would like to buy a pair of shoes, but, I'm not very artistic." well we can help you out with that as well, you can come and buy a pair of shoes and we will have some various artists close buy who you can pay a bit extra to decorate your shoes for you. Isn't that great? and all of those proceeds go towards getting the Gulu team one step closer to their goal. there will be food, fun, friends and much, much more, including a silent auction and blood drive! so come on down! help dreams come true, save a life, and leave with a full stomach a pair of unique shoes and maybe some great prize that you won over twenty other people. please tell your friends i shall be lots of fun for every one!

hello, welcome to On Our Way, this blog will be used as a window in to our fund raising for our Africa trip. Hi I'm Savannah and I'm 14 years old and beginning my first year of high school, i started to babysit every Monday night for about a year and gave 50$ away to a program that gave children in Africa a chance to eat and get an education. I supported a little girl named Lucy and now i have been given the chance to visit the orphanage in which she lives, by contributing 66$ dollars, you help both my mother and i move one step forward to our final destination.
